These terms describe how ValidationOS may be used. They are written in plain language and are not formal legal advice. If you need legally reviewed terms of service for your own organization, consult a qualified attorney.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for everything you do with ValidationOS, including the ideas you research, the prospects you import, the messages you draft, and the messages you ultimately send. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity carried out under your account.
No guaranteed validation outcomes
ValidationOS helps you structure research, generate hypotheses, draft outreach, score signals, and capture decisions. It does not guarantee that an idea will succeed, that a market exists, that prospects will respond, that pricing will work, or that any product built from the output will generate revenue. Treat all generated artifacts as drafts for your judgment.
No automated outreach guarantee
ValidationOS does not send messages on your behalf. It produces drafts that you must review and send yourself through your own channels. We make no guarantee about deliverability, engagement, conversion, or any downstream commercial outcome.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use ValidationOS to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam.
- Harass, defraud, mislead, or impersonate any person or organization.
- Generate content that violates applicable laws or the usage policies of any third-party model provider (e.g. OpenAI).
- Probe, scan, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or the infrastructure of any third-party site we fetch on your behalf.
- Reverse engineer the service to build a competing product, where such restriction is permitted by law.
Crawling and search restrictions
Web fetching is for public, lawful research only. You agree not to use ValidationOS to bypass robots.txt, CAPTCHAs, login walls, paywalls, rate limits, or other access controls. You agree not to crawl social platforms or other sites whose terms prohibit automated access. You agree not to use the search tools to assemble bulk personal datasets, build people-search databases, or perform surveillance on individuals.
Compliance with laws and platform terms
You agree to comply with all laws applicable to you and to your prospects, including privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), anti-spam laws (e.g. CAN-SPAM, CASL, PECR), and the terms of service of any third-party platform you contact prospects through. ValidationOS does not pre-clear messages or contact lists for legal compliance.
No legal, tax, or financial advice
Content generated or surfaced by ValidationOS — including business recommendations, market commentary, pricing suggestions, and risk notes — is informational only and is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice unless separately and explicitly agreed in writing.
Beta software, no warranty
ValidationOS is provided as-is during public beta, without warranty of any kind. Features, limits, and pricing may change. Do not use it as your only system of record for anything you cannot afford to lose. Quotas defined by your plan apply.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or for activity that threatens the stability or reputation of the service.
